Who we are
M Wherry Drives & Patios is run by Mike Wherry, based in Helston. M Wherry is now part of HW Contractors, and enquiries made through this website are handled by HUNT & WHERRY CONTRACTORS LTD (company number 17211536), which is the "data controller" for the information you provide. What we collect and why
When you use our quote form, or call or message us, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, postcode and the job details you describe. We use this only to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and record the work.
If you contact us by WhatsApp or phone, we process your phone number and the content of your messages so we can reply.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business to process your enquiry details.
Cookies and analytics
We use only the cookies needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice. If we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics, those cookies load only after you accept them on the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, who process it on our behalf:
- GoHighLevel: the customer-relationship system that stores and manages your enquiry.
- Google (Analytics): anonymous website-usage statistics, only with your consent.
- Cloudflare: hosts and secures this website.
- WhatsApp / Meta: if you choose to message us through WhatsApp or Facebook.
We may also disclose information if required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry and job records only for as long as we need them to carry out the work, honour any guarantee on it, and keep reasonable business and tax records, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@hwcontractors.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
